Historic travel destinations in the United States

If history is your thing, than the United States has no shortage of Historic sights to see. No matter what era of history you are into, you can find something interesting in the United States.

First, you can explore historic Washington DC. The White House is here, as is the Pentagon, and many other sights. Washington Monument, and many other spectacles await you in this incredibly historic city. You can either go yourself, or you can hire a tour guide to show you all of the highlights… but make sure to brush up on your history first, or you might find yourself overwhelmed by the sheer amount of different things to learn!

Next, you can explore New York City. You can see sights like the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island, and many other sights that claim the Streets of the Big Apple as home. This city also offers some of the most exciting nightlife, and some of the greatest shopping, in the country.

How about the historic gateway arch in St. Louis? You will not want to miss this unforgettable spectacle if you are planning on visiting the Midwest. There is also the Grand Canyon, which you can find in Arizona. This is one of the oldest National parks in the entire country, and offers just about as much history as it does natural beauty.

Or, how about the Golden Gate bridge? Or the Empire State Building? Or the Sears Tower? These are all modern wonders that have made their way into the history books of the United States. You can also visit Boston, where at legendary Boston harbor the sparks of revolution were ignited.

With so many places to visit, the United States would make the perfect vacation destination for any time of the year.
